Important Privacy Commitment:

  • Your Markdown documents are processed locally within the application
  • Markdown content is used exclusively for preview rendering and PDF export functionality
  • We do not transmit your Markdown content to external servers or third parties (with one exception noted below)
  • Your content remains private and under your control at all times
  • PDF generation occurs entirely on your device without transmitting content to external servers
  • Support for LaTeX equations and Mermaid diagrams is processed locally
  • Syntax highlighting for 15+ programming languages is rendered on your device
  • Custom themes, font preferences (9 body fonts and 7 code fonts for Premium users), and application settings are stored locally on your device

PlantUML Processing Exception:

  • PlantUML diagram rendering may be processed through:
    • PlantUML’s official demo server, and/or
    • Our managed rendering servers (when available)
  • Only the PlantUML code portions of your document are transmitted over the network for rendering
  • The rendered diagrams are returned as images and displayed in your preview
  • We do not control data retention policies on third-party servers (PlantUML demo server)
  • No PlantUML content is stored or logged on our managed servers
  • This feature is only available to Premium users

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:
